The Sander's Paramedic Textbook cover

@TheMedicMentor

I wouldn’t call myself an expert in education.

However, I have spent years reading and learning about how to learn anything, faster. And I have probably spent 100 hours studying in my own life.

Here’s How I First Got Interested In Ultralearning:

I failed a basic chemistry class in college 4 times before I passed.

And it’s not like I was dumb. I graduated with a 3.8 GPA from high school with multiple AP classes. I did pretty well for myself with my apparently poor study habits.

College changed all that.

It was way harder than I ever thought it would be. And my inability to study became super obvious. I had no idea what I needed to fix to pass my classes.

Until I found Ultralearning, which is basically learning how to learn.

It’s based on these 3 topics

  • World Champion Memory Techniques
  • Explaining Anything, Simply
  • How to ACTUALLY Study A Textbook

And I used this to system to successfully study Molecular and Cellular Biology in college, and graduate in the top 5 of my 50 person paramedic class.

So my goal over the next year is:

Use this system to finish my business degree while still working full time and supporting a family.

Learning isn’t hard, it’s just no one teaches you how to do it.
